Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles, Lincoln Field, Philadelphia - November 24, 2019.

The big day I have been waiting for - coming to my first NFL game to cheer for the Seattle Seahawks - proudly wearing my Earl Thomas III 29 jersey. I got these tickets almost a full year in advance and they did not disappoint. Despite the freeze and rainy wet seats, a flea-flicker into Malik Turner’s TD and Penny’s 58-yard TD stole the show. The Eagles offense and Wentz looked quite flat, so the competition was not as close as it could be. Russell still looks as efficient as ever, while the play just shows how explosive Penny is. Under a good line, Penny can realize his ceiling and fulfill what Pete/John Schneider saw when drafting him. Great showing for someone who looked like a bust just a year ago.

My girlfriend and I (3rd and 4th from the left) were featured on the official 12s Instagram fan page. Just three years into seriously watching football and I am a bigger fan than I could have previously imagined.

Some highlights from the game.

Updates: Seattle and Philadelphia are officially in for a rematch in the NFC Wild Card on Lincoln Field, Philadelphia. Another Battle of The Birds! Feeling pretty good about our chances against a deflated Eagles squad but anything can happen in football. With a Vikings upset against the 49ers, Seahawks can get priority seeding to play at home. Oh… and Marshawn Lynch is back!!
